Isaiah 11:3-4 -- The King will be glad to obey the Lord

Qualities of a Godly King are:

• He obeys the Lord
• He doesn't judge by looks, or what he hears (I'm guessing because bad assumptions can be made)
• He judges the poor honestly (I'm guessing this means that the right decision will be made irregardless of whether you have money or not)
• He is fair with the poor of the land.
• He punishes evil people

and goodness and fairness give him strength.

Lord, please watch over our country.
