As I read this scripture I wonder how often I have disappointed God. I know there have been times when I had lots of time to do for Him but very little time to appreciate the gifts He has given to me. It is reminding me to count my many blessing and remember how much He enjoys the fruit of His Spirit. "Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, self control" Galatians 5:22-23
This scripture is also reminding me of another God principle. "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportuity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers" Galatians 6:7-10
